Name: Alice Merik
Age: 23
Species: Human/Psychic
Job: Artist
Personality
Alice had always led a sheltered life. After all the incidents with her brother, her parents decided their youngest child would be closed off from the outside world. As a result, she is naive to many the workings of the outside world, especially in a place that is so far from home. She still has a small air of innocence to her. She had to develop a dual nature. One to please her parents and the other to keep herself sane.
She was no longer the submissive and sheepish girl. She is happy to be free from the bonds of her parents at school. She doesn't have to hide who she is. She is now able to be herself. Shes not loud, but enjoys friends, dancing and laughing. Things she was never allowed to do under the strict rules of the Merik manor.
She is bright and happy and loves to dance. Little makes this girl sad now. Allie still has some co-dependence issues that she was raised with. With her Uncle Charles always on business trips, she has never been on her own and is afraid she won't make it on her own, without the support of her parents. But is certainly up for the task of trying. Her power frighten her. She is still learning to control them. She is unsure of herself even though her uncle says she is a natural.
History
When Alice was born, many things were expected from her birth. She was to be the correction of a grave mistake on the family. Her brother, who is more than seven years older than Alice, Damian. Like his name, D was a hellion. He was rebellious of his parents rules. He didn't fit with the conservative and wealthy family. He wanted a different life for himself...and later on for his sister. He didn't want either of them to conform.
Damian was a constant headache for Alice's parents. They were ashamed of his reckless behavior. Be it the music career, the affairs with less than savory ladies, or the alleged drug abuse. They wanted Penni to be their 'golden child'. She was to make amends and shine brighter than Damian's shadow. For years She was meek, quiet and obedient. She listened to her parents every word. She didn't even say a word, when she was forced out of her private school and was given a private tutor.
She hated the life they were trying to make her lead. But was afraid to speak up about it. She only complained to her brother. She knew he understood her. She knew he would have answers that her parents didn't have. Everyone in a while, while her parents were out at political functions. D and her cousin Kain would take her with them, be it out to dinner or to a concert. They wanted her to get a taste of the outside world.
Those tastes, would make Alice create two separate identities. One was the front for her parents and society. She was well behaved, soft spoken and brilliant. The other was a more private and fun creation. She was a typical teenager. She went to parties, made friends and even had a few boyfriends. When her parents would leave for several days at a time, or even for the evening, Allie would slip out of the estate and enjoy the night. She was able to keep this front up for a year before she was caught.
The last few years of her teenage years were agonizing. When she turned 19, she left home with her now available trust fund. She spent several years just working on her art when Her Uncle Charles had phoned her. Something was wrong and he wouldn't tell her why. Just that she needed to meet him and she needed to know a few very important details about herself. She discovered she had the ability to feel a person's emotions and soothe physical and emotional discomfort. . She always thought she was intuitive but Charles filled in the details. Also, she never knew it but could draw/paint moments in a person's life, be it their past present and future. He has been guiding her and training her for three years. Juggling a secret this big, helping out hunters that come into her uncle's shop and trying to be a normal college has been more trouble than she realized.

The sun was hanging low in the sky. It would be dark soon, that was when they came out in force...the Croats. A lone woman sat outside of her cabin, well on it's roof actually. Her eyes peered out into the sky. The pale pink and oranges looked so pretty in the darkening sky. It was almost sad seeing something so beautiful in a world torn asunder. A bleak feeling washed over her. She felt helpless in this world. Sure she was capable. She knew how to survive, knew how to fight...but she was human.
Anya had grew up human. It wasn't hard to play a human role when that's all you've ever known. However, the young woman had a unique heritage. She had been born a nephilim. Anya was the child of a mortal woman and an angel. She used to be strong, powerful and fearless but when the angels disappeared... The divine magic in her blood was gone. Now, she was weak, powerless and afraid.
Her eyes left the beautiful skyscape. Hazel pools moved to the humans moving around the camp. They were doing the day to day activities that keep his little safe haven running. The last scavenging party she had went on earlier that day was a minimal haul. Soon they would have to expand the searches for supplies deeper in the quarantine zone. No one really wanted to do that but when there was no choice, you did what you had to do. Winchester ran a tight ship. It had taken him time to accept her. She had been a nephilim. Demons and angels both didn't trust the strange and rare race. Their powers were extraordinary and dangerous.
Moving to stand, she paced the roof. Her feet moved against the slate shingles. She was frustrated and pacing did not help. Instead she decided to climb down from the roof. She was careful doing so, a broken leg would be a bad idea. Once her feet touched solid ground she sat on the stoop of her cabin.
